Noise Pop 2005 Line-up Features The Walkmen, Joanna Newsom, Mission of Burma  

There are a slew of great festivals this year, but San Francisco's Noise Pop 2005 Festival may perhaps provide the most bang for your buck. On February 22 - 27, the festival will put on 20 shows, four free happy hours and one free opening night party at local San Francisco venues. The good news is that you don't have to buy expensive all-day or all-festival passes, as tickets are sold for each show individually. The prices are reasonable and range from $8 - $22.50. The bad news is that instead of being able to wander around to multiple stages as you wish, you'll more than likely have to make a commitment to one show on each night. Here's the fantastic line-up:
