Rusted Root gears up for March tour

Multi-platinum fusion, jam band Rusted Root is touring together for the first time in a few years. The band recently released a greatest hits "live" recording featuring new songs "Jack Kerouac," "Ecstatic Drums," and a cover of Neil Young’s "Powderfinger." All totaled, the 2-cd set features 22 songs that span the group's more than 12-year career, ranging from such early faves-turned live staples as "Cruel Sun," "Ecstasy," "Martyr," "Cat Turned Blue," and the hit single "Send Me On My Way" to "Blue Diamonds" and the title track from the band's last studio effort, 2002's "Welcome To My Party." All of which are likely to land on set lists for at least some of the tour dates.
