Looking very much like Mr. Burns, Bill Gates told German daily
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in an interview published today, "I don't think the success of the iPod can continue in the long term, however good Apple may be."
The Microsoft megalomaniac went on to say, "I think you can draw parallels here with the computer — here, too, Apple was once extremely strong with its Macintosh and graphic user interface, like with the iPod today, and then lost its position."
Hmm...
Apple was once extremely strong with its Macintosh and graphic user interfaceYou mean before you put out a, shall we say, strikingly similar product, Bill? Also, that's quite a stretch to compare iPod's current dominance with that of Macintosh back in the day.
