Jeff Tweedy to Appear on BBC's Mixing It

Tonight at 10:15 (5:15 EST) Jeff Tweedy will guest star on Mixing It, a BBC Radio program, "celebrated as a bastion of experimental music radio." Tonight's show will feature an interview with Tweedy as well as music from Wilco, Jose Gonzalez, Curtis Roads, Loose Fur, and M. Ward, among others. BBC keeps audio files of past programs on their website, so if you have a hot date tonight you can always check it out later. Find more information about the show, including a full line-up, here.

In other news, the lastest reports indicate that Tweedy, Gary Louris, Mark Perlman and Dan Murphy are still at work recording for Golden Smog in Spain. Special guest Steve Wynn (founder of Dream Syndicate) reports, "things are moving ahead smashingly, and the band is seriously enjoying recording in a different atmosphere."
