Tuesday, May 10, 2005Renee Zellweger Says "I do" with Latest in String of Music Men Yesterday, Renee Zellweger married country star Kenny Chesney in the Virgin Islands. The couple met for the first time on January 15, 2005, at the tsunami relief benefit, "Concert of Hope." This news wouldn't normally be relevant to Earvolution.com, but we wanted to take a minute to ponder how a woman could go from Jim Carrey to Jack White to Damien Rice to Kenny Chesney. While the attraction to musicians is an easy concept to grasp, I am at a loss as to how you could so easily mix genres. And Kenny Chesney? Renee, the paltry amount of cool points you scored with the color-coded, rockstar boyfriend just vaporized. But who are we to judge, apparently she found a kindred spirit in the crooner who wrote, "You Had Me from Hello," based on her line from Jerry Maguire. *Gagging*

I could not believe it when I heard it. I am a huge Kenny fan and I think that he could have done SO much better! Of ALL people he HAD to chose her! Come on! I am shocked, really I am.

17 years old with high hopes of making kenny fall in love with me. Well clearly that wont happen but just because he married a wonderful actress, doesn't mean he's not my all time favorite. i still love him and his music. BEST OF LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU AND I WISH YOU MANY YEARS OF HAPPINESS

Renee is the BEST actress. Kenny is one of the BEST country singers. My favorite Actress and my favortie singer make the PERFECT couple... I LOVE YOU GUYS! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

Oh well, hope it's sincere. Marriage shouldn't be taken lightly. If it's meant to be, it'll work out. I do have to agree though that they don't really go together as a couple. She's way too fair complected to hang with that tan island boy!

When I heard the news, I was SHOCKED! I mean you have Kenny Chesney the most happening thing in Country Music! Everyone has been bashing Kenny because they don't think he's good enough for Renee. Come on people, she has found the most genuine, loving, country boy there is. I wish them nothing but the best but I still think he could have done SO SO SO much BETTER! She is definitely not his type that is for sure.

I wanted to say that I agree with you all up there....How is he going to take her out on the beach and lay out with him? She will burn. I guess we dont need to worry about that though, she will be pregnant before we know it. They both want to start a family very soon...Hope the baby looks like him for goodness sake.
