Reacting to outrage by Live 8 organizer/founder Bob Geldof over folks selling their tickets to the London show, eBay has now banned the sale of tickets to the event. Bowing to pressure, eBay reversed course after initially saying they would allow the sale citing the individual owner's right to sell the ticket.
Sir Bob referred to the eBay ticket sellers as "
wretches."
A quick search didn't turn up any remaining tickets on eBay, but
plenty of Live 8 related items remain for sale. Hopefully those selling the items will donate them to the proper charities.
