Live 8: Edinburgh Finale

The music continued last night as the "Long Walk to Justice" made its way to Scotland for a final concert as the G8 summit gets underway.

Scottish natives The Proclaimers opened the show with their hit "500 Miles" as a metaphor for all those coming and looking to Scotland in hopes that the G8 leaders provide some help for the world's poorest citizens.

Annie Lennox, The Corrs, Will Young, Travis, Texas, and Natasha Bedingfield also performed at the show. Ronan Keating, Embrace, and Jamie Cullum were also on the bill. James Brown brought down the curtain with the his signature tune "I Feel Good."

Never too far from the spotlight, U2's Bono performed a duet with Andrea Corr of the Corrs and was warmly greeted by the 50,000+ in attendance.

G8 leaders are expected to make some announcements related to aid and debt relief for Africa before the summit closes.
