Every new rumor that Axl Rose is ready to release
Chinese Democracy, the mythical "new" Guns N' Roses album, must be taken with a grain of salt. Every GNR fan has surely uttered that they "won't get fooled again" when hearing that this year will be the year. However, the
chatter amongst the white noise seems to be growing with respect to 2006 being the year for the long-awaited release.
On the heels of the Internet leak of two songs from the forthcoming album, "The Blues" and "There Was A Time," comes
"confirmation" that Axl Rose will bring Guns N' Roses to headline the second day of Rock in Rio, May 27, in Lisbon, Portugal. The post break-up version of Guns N' Roses headlined the 2001 Festival, playing to over 200,000 fans.
Prudence dictates that chickens should not be counted until they hatch, but it seems that this egg is starting to shake.
[Ed. note - $50 says Axl shows up late or not at all]
