REM frontman Michael Stipe has put together a six song EP to benefit
Mercy Corps and their work along the Gulf Coast helping Hurricane Katrina victims.
Stipe enlisted Coldplay's Chris Martin to appear on the song "
In the Sun" and the rest of the EP consists of 5 different versions and mixes of the song, including a live recording of Stipe and the entire Coldplay band at Austin City Limits.
Former Smashing Pumpkin James Iha recorded the primary track and Fountain of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger plays piano.
