Picking up the slack this week for Scott Stapp, former Libertines singer Pete Doherty was arrested Monday night on suspicion of stealing a car and for possession of Class A drugs. The 26-year-old singer and the two teenagers he was arrested with were released on bail.
Doherty's arrest comes while he was supposed to be going through a period of court-ordered drug rehabilitation counseling after pleading guilty to seven separate charges of cocaine/heroin possession. What effect this current arrest will have on Doherty's probationary status - or his chances of getting back together with Kate Moss - remains to be seen.
