Chili Pepper bassist Flea
informed MTV that the Red Hots have agreed in principle to play this summer's Lollapalooza Festival taking place August 4-6 along Chicago's waterfront. The Chili Peppers return to the Lollapalooza stage for the first time since headlining the 1992 tour.
In discussing their summer tour in support of their upcoming double album
Stadium Arcadium, which will be released May 9, Flea reiterated frontman Anthony Kiedis' desire to tour the U.S. on a double bill with Kanye West. Keidis has stated that the lines of communication with West's camp were open but, to date, nothing has been confirmed.
