Indicating that My Morning Jacket will be ready to resume their regularly scheduled touring, the band's participation has been announced at Bonnaroo, Coachella and High Sierra Music Festivals. The Kentucky rockers were forced to pull out of a high-profile New Year's Eve gig at Madison Square Garden with the Black Crowes and cancel their European tour when complications from a case of pneumonia sidelined lead singer Jim Jones.

The Kentucky rockers will be looking to capitalize on the critical success of their latest release Z, which appeared on practically every top 10 list of 2005's best albums. My Morning Jacket is also riding the groundswell of favorable public opinion for their stand against Sony's use of iPOD blocking technology on their CDs, going so far as to offer to burn free copies of Z for anyone affected by the insidious software.
