Smile, a documentary about the tortured history of the unreleased Beach Boys album that Brian Wilson finally released last year, took home the top award at Home Media Retailing Magazine's 2nd annual Music DVD Awards. The judges cited the DVDs audio, video and technical elements as well as Wilson's candor about an album that makes Axl Rose's release of
Chinese Democracy seem speedy. Rhino Entertainment released the documentary as well as three other award winning DVDs.
