Gorillaz to split?

Damon Albarn says "Demon Days" might be the last Gorrillaz record. That would be a shame, but might actually make sense particularly if Blur really is getting back together.

More Soundbytes:

Morrissey has the current #1 record in the U.K. - its nice to see him making news beyond slamming the Arctic Monkeys.

Rosie Thomas pulled a prank on Pitchfork, turns out she and Sufjan Stevens are not having a baby, but Sufjan is putting out a new record.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is reportedly a new papa as wife Gwyneth has reportedly given birth to a bouncing baby boy to join sister Apple. The early reports have the little guy dubbed "Moses."

Bands with MySpace pages can now convert their tunes to ringtones.

Robbie Williams still thinks its ok to pirate digital music. Somewhere Lars Ulrich is vowing to kick his ass.
