R.E.M., Gregg Allman, Jermaine Dupri and Dallas Austin will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 16th in Atlanta at the World Congress Center.
Of note, Bill Berry,
who left the band in 1997 for health reasons, will rejoin Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe for a short set to celebrate their induction. Past inductees into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame include such notables as Ray Charles, James Brown, Otis Redding, Gram Parsons and the B-52s.
