Liz Berlin of the multi-platinum fusion, jam band Rusted Root emailed to let us know the band has tour dates lined up throughout the summer.
Liz also has some great news about her studio. Mr. Smalls has expanded with two new recording rooms. Having seen the likes of iconic artists such as Anti-Flag, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent/G-Unit, Keller Williams & Ryan Adams, Mr. Smalls brings its history to a new room who's own history includes the likes of The Darkness, Peter Gabriel, John Hicks & Dwayne Dolphin, Rusted Roots legendary first album "Cruel Sun" and Out Of The Blue (co-owner, Mike Speranzo's band).
Additionally, her non-profit record label – Creative.Life.Support Records offers interest-free financing for recording studio projects, an unprecedented concept for getting a project underway. Artists of all levels and genres will have the opportunity to record at Mr. Smalls Studios and Real.Life Studio.
And, if you're in the Pittsburgh area you can catch Liz live before the band hits the road. You can catch Liz (solo-electic) with Alexa Ray Joel (yes, Billy Joel's daughter, who Liz says is quite talented) on May 17 at the Hard Rock Cafe, 230 W. Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. (412 481 7625). Show starts at 8:30 pm, is all ages & costs only $5.
Also you can catch Liz and Rusted Root bandmate Jenn Wertz on June 1st at Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh for a free show from 12-1pm.
