The Subways Get Back On Track

After having their North American tour in support of their debut album Young For Eternity sidetracked as the result of lead singer Billy Lunn's vocal chord issues, The Subways have announced that it's "tour on." After taking a brief convalescence, the UK trio will go back on the road with their labelmates Taking Back Sunday for two months of summer shows starting June 22 at Six Flags in New Jersey. "We're so excited to tour the States again this summer," says bassist/vocalist/Lunn's girlfriend Charlotte Cooper. "Billy's feeling a lot better vocally and we're really ready to get back on the road."

Former tour mates Rock Kills Kid were left in the lurch by The Subways' cancellation. However, the Los Angeles based quintet quickly regrouped and will commence an American tour of their own.
