How does
Willie Nelson know if he's got a good song? If he can remember it after getting baked.
Says Willie:
"I figured if it wasn't worth remembering it probably wasn't a very good song, so that would be the test, to see if I remembered it (after smoking a joint and) got back to a guitar or a piano."
The only thing most people remember after getting high is the number to Domino's. So, Willie's test seems to work for him even though he says he's sure he's forgotten a few over the years (that would have been a great defense to those IRS allegations). Somewhere
