I caught a bit of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band's energetic set at this year's "
Jam on the River" in Philadelphia. These New Orleans (and beyond) legends put on a great show and are back with a new studio release.
They've put together a "reinterpretation" of the Marvin Gaye classic
What's Going On that is set to hit stores August 29th. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the
Tipitina's Foundation benefiting the music community of New Orleans. The album features contributions from Chuck D, Ivan Neville, G. Love and more.
