You'll recall last January 2005, that we posted a blurb about Portishead working on their first record in eight years. Well make that nine years. The band is still at it over 18 months later.
A message on their Myspace page says "work aint good at the moment...we've got stuck...just a few more months and we can really go at it." So, there is still no date certain and this rate could easily hit a 10 year anniversary since their last record. Hey...you can't rush greatness, right?
