The Very Best of Jerry Garcia will hit stores September 26, 2006.
The compilation salutes Garcia's solo work. The set contains both studio and live tracks. Disc one focuses on the solo records released from 1972-1982. The second disc contains 76 minutes of live cuts from a range of Jerry Garcia Band lineups from 1973-1990, including a previously unreleased version of "Dear Prudence" from 1979.
