Perry Farrell is working on his new record that will be released later this year. The record,
Woman in the Window, will include a track that features a previously unreleased Jim Morrison vocal. The song will also be used as the theme song for
Global Cool, an organization which is dedicated to raising awareness of the global climate crisis.
The Doors will also be honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and will finally get a Hollywood star. It is hard to believe they are just now getting a star. 2007 also marks the 40th Anniversary of the Doors' self-titled debut. Later in the year, their sophomore record will also celebrate the same birthday.
Strange Days was released in October of 1967.
